The winner of Fox Sports reality TV show, ‘Football Superstar’, is set to make his A-League debut.
Canberra native Luke Pilkington has impressed with his recent form in the Victory’s youth team and has progressed to the first team squad ahead of tomorrow’s clash with North Queensland Fury in Townsville.
Victory coach Ernie Merrick is confident the left-footed midfielder/defender has what it takes to make it at the top level, saying this opportunity was a good one for him.
"There's a few young players in with a chance, but Luke has played very well in the youth team," Merrick said. "It's a good chance for him."
