Inter Milan president Moratti reserves Mourinho ruling after journo clash
Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is keeping his powder dry over complaints from journalists made against coach Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho reportedly insulted and pushed Andrea Ramazzotti away from the Inter team bus after Sunday's 1-1 draw against Atalanta in Bergamo.
The Union of Italian Sports Journalists released a statement later yesterday evening demanding action from the sporting justice system.
“For the moment, I would prefer not to comment because I do not have all the elements to make a judgement,” Moratti said.
“I will speak with the Union of Italian Sports Journalists, listen to their spokesperson and ask what he means by energetic action.”
Moratti was then asked if he believes Inter's draw was a missed opportunity after Milan and Juventus both lost.
“The others were also beaten. It can be seen as a missed opportunity in view of opening up a greater gap at the top.”
