Melbourne Heart set to announce name and colours at Christmas

New A-League club Melbourne Heart will announce their playing name, club colours and logo around Christmas time.

Melbourne Heart Syndicate CEO Scott Munn revealed to tribalTV that everything should be finished before the new year in what is an exciting time for both the incoming club and football in Australia.

Munn admitted it may be tough to break into the Melbourne market with the reigning A-League champions Melbourne Victory ruling the city but is confident that the football community will embrace the new brand and that the club will be able to compete with not only the Victory but with all the other A-League clubs.
