It is right that Rafa had built lots of stuffs for the future. But 1st team line up should not be so defensive. Put torres n kuyt up front, gerrard right behind. Yossi on right n maxi or trots on left. We will win lots of games.
Clustim thats because Man UTD werent a top four team back them unlike liverpool u dumass.
First, how the hell LFC got sold to these greedy yanks. Also, they are more keen on buyover from arabs for huge profits, n please remember we have one of the largest fan-base in the world meaning we are a healthy gold-mine which need the right owner/s to steer to the rightful n successful direction. As for Rafa, he went too bullish after winning the CL in 2005. He bought crap players after players like Gonzales, and many other who made little or no impact though free transfer like that Voronin doesnt mean he played for free. Rafa to go end of season
I don't like him,he should go there is better coaches in europe that can do more work &win games we have seen all he can do.he can't do more than wat he has done i'm tired of hearing excuses from him.He is good in analizing match after matches.
hmm........

With some notable exceptions, most good managers take a few years to win anything. Rafa already has a number of successes but unfortunately at a club like Liverpool constant silverware is expected. In the meantime he is required to ensure a minimum of Champions League football whilst bringing through new talent. If Rafa was sacked now so early into his rebuilding exercise, it would be like turning back the clock and starting again. For those of us with fond memories of our last league championship it has been too long in between and would extend the drought - give Rafa time!
Even though he has full control over the acadamy, and about 55-70 new youngsters, NONE have been given a fair chance. Pacheco, creating more during 4!! minutes than Kuyt´s 60 and still doesnt deserves more chances? Rafa isnt creating or developing players, he ruins them. And when we MUST WIN (pompey) he starts with 7..SEVEN defensive players? How´s that for a tactical genius like Rafa...
I think Rafa needs a hardcore, yet talented number 2 who is able to make Rafa stand up and listen.
Degen was free transfer, so was Voronin. They where worth taking a chance on. (now maybe its time to let them go when the youngsters have stepped up)
There where no backup for Arbeloa last season. Now Darby has stepped up a bit and no one could imagine that Degen would be made of glass.
Voronin is still a good player, as he was playing in Germany. But of course he cant replace Torres. Who can?
Kyriakos was a last minute signing that was needed. Maybe a better choice would have been to keep Hyypia, but he wanted to play more.
There is a lot of rubbish talk about his bad signing. He signed, Benayoun, Mascherano and Torres, and dont forget Alonso and Reina (i think). Class players. And now Aquaman who can be a key player when he gets match fitness.
great article
