At least Redknapp isn't accommodating Jenas just to. Hopefully this is the same situation with Robbie Keane. Our first eleven are playing based on merit and since the Sunderland match 'Arry has got the side and the tactics right.
I've always found that Jenas does a really good job on the right side of midfield. When given an isolated position he always performs strongly; however there is no way he plays ahead of Lennon. Great player to have come off the bench and Palacios and Huddlestone won't play all the time so it's a matter of biding his time and taking advantage when he does play.
JJ is good to come on when we need a spark around the 70th min. I think he has the passion but lacks a little skill imo.

there is about as much chance of Krancjar & Modric playing together as there is of a cow jumping over the moon!
keane, give me a break, who should never get off the bench! Worry about how you are going to fit Modric and Kranjcar together. Huddlestone and palacios are defensive midfielders, you can sub either one for Jenas for some more offence, less of course when modric comes back, who will be starting with kranjcar.
line up is going to be
gomez
Coluka dawson bassong esskoto
lennon palacios modric
kranjcar
Crouch Defoe
I can find a place for JJ at my local club in the low southen div not sure what thay call it but he could warm the bench here
send him to trhe braziliaqns in part exchange fr sandros and d allesandro
im more concerned about fitting modric and krancjar into the same side, they both have to play.
Why everyone going on about Palacios ????? Yes first 3-4 games he got stuck into everyone looked good , but the team made him look like that everyone of them was bone idle untill Palacios and robbie put some bloody life into them. Ever since then and i know the lad as had trouble at home poor sod but passing/shootting are not good for the prem. at this moment in tim he is a weak link for us come on harry running round like a chicken with no head just wont do
Off course that system wont work..Its not versatile, lacks mobility and finesse..We need more guile players in the side basically...Hence great having Kranjaer.
If we maintain a system with two central defensive style midfield players we need at least four decent players working in rotation, in case of injury or bans. Shame it has to be Jenas who misses out but he will get games even if we bring in another player. There must be competition for places in every position so that even Palacios (who has been utterly brilliant this season) has to keep his form up to be included in the team.
