Gasperini desperate to bring Euro success to Genoa

Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini is desperate to bring Europa League success to the club.

Gasperini's team face Slavia Prague this week with a chance of qualifying for the knockout round.

“We have to forget everything we have done in Serie A, as now is the moment to concentrate on the game in Prague,” said Gasperini.

“The Europa League is a great window for a club like ours and we don’t want to stop here, even if we know it won’t be easy, as Slavia already proved they never give up.

“We want to qualify and now is the moment to leave the derby celebrations behind us so we can concentrate.”
