Former DC United head coach Tom Soehn has been linked with a technical director-type role at the Vancouver Whitecaps.
Soehn was in town to meet Whitecaps’ president Bob Lenarduzzi last week to discuss the potential move which the North American Soccer League club want filled before the end of the year.
The Whitecaps are keen to add some more MLS experience to the club before they enter the league in 2011 and Soehn, who won an MLS Cup as a player with the Chicago Fire in 1998 and was an assistant coach there to current U.S. national team boss Bob Bradley, seems to fit the bill perfectly.
