Man Utd set to swoop for Man City’s Richards

I agree with Clustim,a few years ago i would have really wished man utd bought richards,but obviously not now.We have rafael,fabio,o'shea,neville,brown,de laet and even hargreaves can occasionally play there.Whats the use i buying such a player that will be crushed by competition for rb at man utd?

With his natural talent,a coach like SAF and a good team like manU,he could become an excellent player

The word is that his early success went to his head, that he believed all the hype and he took his eye off the ball in all senses of the phrase.
Would SAF want to risk adding a rotten apple to the barrel? I doubt it!

Too bad Richards isn't a right back. He has nothing like the technical ability required to be a RB at a top club. And he's not really a CB either.
