Dutch legend Ronald de Boer has backed Real Madrid striker Ruud van Nistelrooy to make a successful return to the Premier League.
The Dutch striker has been linked with Liverpool and Tottenham after almost a year out of the Real Madrid side with a knee injury.<>
Van Nistelrooy hit 150 goals in 220 games for Manchester United and De Boer said: “A lot depends on how the injury has affected his mobility and his speed. If it’s the same, he can be very good. He’s a guy who will always score goals.”
