Zambrotta: AC Milan struggling at home

AC Milan defender Gianluca Zambrotta admits they struggle to produce their best at the San Siro.

Milan drew with Marseille on Wednesday night in their Champions League tie.

Zambrotta said: "We felt the effort, because with respect to Marseille we had two rest days less after our match in the championship. They played on Friday. We on Sunday.

“In the second half this aspect has been fundamental. They were fresher and more reactive. But we can be equally satisfied because qualification is close.

“I can't understand the reason behind the difficulties we meet at San Siro, but it's also true that against Zurich we deserved success and instead lost.

“We will qualify in Switzerland.”
