Arsenal youngster Fran Merida lost his cool last night against Aston Villa reserves.
The London Evening Standard says Merida was sent off last night as the reserves slumped to a 2-1 defeat against Aston Villa.
The Spaniard, who is yet to agree terms on an extension to his contract which runs out at the end of the season, appeared to aim a punch at Fabian Delph and was given his marching orders midway through the first half.
It proved to be the game's turning point as Sanchez Watt had put the hosts ahead prior to the incident.
