Benites lost it..... The Yanks never had it!!
Say what you like about the owners, Benitez.. I would like to go to a match again and roughly know who off the subs bench is coming onto the pitch, you cant tell me that 'we', the crowd, know nothing about football, we have followed the reds avidly an great quality football is something we have had at anfield. The man has us puzzled an I speak for many that he has misspent the money, knackered up transfers and looks like he has lost the dressing room. I hate to say that Liverpool Football Club is in decline and under Rafa now, the search for silverwear is further away that when we had houlier.
Yes, the owners arnt great at splashing the cash in big amouts but would you give 40-60m to a man with the record that he has had, would you nuts.
Benitez boasts about his 'scouting network' and I agree that we have some very very good lads not far off the first team but the only scouting I personally think Liverpool should be doing is for a new manager. I sincererly hope something is done sooner rather than later. YNWA
It is kinda funny thou lol
I dont get this anti American BS....Rafa has had plenty of money to spend, he just has bought flops!! Are people really this dumb. Keane, Dossena, Lucas, the spanish left winger plus look how much he spent on Mascherano, Johnson,Torres...etc. To say he hasnt had money is ridiculous.

Compare LFC and ManU.
Both have a fine tradition, are based in similar cities in the North West.
Both have huge debts bestowed by pauper American owners.
So why are LFC struggling and ManU doing ok?
The difference has to be their managers!
So, Benitez it is, then.
IdIOTs! If Rafa had the $$ to spend.. dude they guy below even has a copy of the spending and liverpool is behind chelsa only you douche....
the blame is twofold, firstly and foremostly it is benitez's fault, he chooses the team, he reccomends who to buy, he does the substitutions, he does the team talks, works out the tactics, does the training etc etc etc, so therefore, the team he has created is not doing well, so therefore he is at fault. yes, he has had injuries, but those injuries have shown up to everyone that the squad lacks the neccessary depth of talent to be able to handle a Torres or Gerrard being out, but currently liverpool are woefuly short of that. AND every other squad has ALSO had injuries to key players. So that excuse doesn't wash.
secondly, the infighting and backstabbing of the owners surely has a demoralizing effect on the team and club as a whole.
To blame one set is wrong, they are all to blame and I for one think its hilarious!!!
Hi Idiots, what the fack? Liverpool are the first English team in History to qualify for The Europa League from The Champions League. There's always a first.
IdIOTs! If Rafa had the $$ to spend.. will it look like bargain hunting every transfer window? And torres cost like what... 22 mil... Any player we pay over 20 for has big big expectations and when we do pay that amount, we get quality. Gosh, how often do we pay over 20 mil?? When the mancs and the pensioners pay 30 odd mil, 40 odd mil for players, we can't even dream of going into a bidding war. If your boss tells you to sort out the christmas party with a budget of 10 bucks... go figure. It's an inflated market and the prices for 'world class' players are nothing less than top top dollar. We have to have a flea market every transfer window and pay the yanks, get some spare change from them to go buy some sweets. This is a ******cking joke! And we are paying their debts?!?!
