Chicago Fire seem to have plenty of coaching options to fill the vacancy left by Denis Hamlett.
Some names being bandied around to lead the team into 2010 and beyond include:
Former DC United coach and Chicago Fire player Tom Soehn, ex-Fire assistant and former club captain Chris Armas, interim coach at New York Red Bulls Richie Williams, ex-Kansas City Wizards mentor Curt Onalfo and former LA Galaxy, Chivas USA and Bayern Munich assistant Martin Vasquez.
It is unsure of who is the frontrunner for the role but the Fire are sure to make a decision very soon.
