Chelsea confident ahead of Arsenal match – Terry
Submitted by Andrew Slevison on Thu, 11/26/2009 - 00:00
Chelsea captain John Terry believes the hard-fought win in the Champions League over FC Porto on Wednesday night will hold them in good stead for the blockbuster against Arsenal this weekend.
The Blues face their London rivals at Emirates Stadium on Sunday and Terry insists the players are ready to take on the Gunners after putting in a solid shift in Portugal.
"It's always going to be difficult coming here, they are a very good side with good players. I thought we dealt well with it and did what we had to do," said Terry.
"We looked confident, we're playing with confidence. We've got some tough games coming up, we need to regroup now and make sure we're sharp for Arsenal. It was a good performance."
