Canadian striker Haber pitches up at West Brom

West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo has taken Canadian forward Marcus Haber on trial.

The 20-year-old is currently with Vancouver Whitecaps but he is keen to return to Europe.

He was previously on the books of Dutch side FC Groningen, but failed to make it into their first team.

He had trials with Leeds, Gillingham and Hartlepool last year, but a move did not materialise and he joined The Whitecaps in February this year.
