Real Madrid’s Drenthe loses €1000 earring in training

Royston Drenthe was left on his own after Real Madrid training yesterday searching for a lost earring.

The Dutchman, in his civvies, was watched by reporters carefully tracking through the training pitch in search of a lost diamond worth over €1,000, says El Mundo Deportivo.

Drenthe lost the earring in training and after several minutes of searching gave up.

"It's okay," he shrugged to reporters as he left the complex.
