Miguel is seeking clear-the-air talks with Valencia management.
The Portugal international has been left out of coach Unai Emery's squad in recent games and is frustrated by his situation.
Súper Deporte says Miguel wants to know if he has a future in Emery's thinking or whether he should start planning for a January departure.
Juventus and Fiorentina in Italy have been linked with Miguel this season.
