New England Revolution have signed head coach Steve Nicol to a multi-year deal.
Revs vice president of player personnel Michael Burns confirmed that the former Liverpool defender, who has been in charge of the New England club since 2002, will remain as its head coach into the future.
In other good news for the club, MLS Commissioner Don Garber said that a soccer-specific stadium for the Revs was a definite option.
“Hopefully, the market turns around and we can get the city to get back at the table with the Krafts and help us get a stadium done,” Garber said.
