Zidane once lauded Scholes as one of the most complete midfielders he had ever seen (obviously he didn't see all the bad tackling and stupid cards :P), so enuff said. Scholes was magnificent

Yeah, right. Of course Scholes and Giggs are revered as football legends. They were. But today they are just not there any more and they only play because of their legendary past and because SAF is a sentimental oldie like they are. Unfortunately by continuing to play (and be selected by SAF) they are selfishly blocking the careers of our talented youngsters.
