Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Tue, 11/24/2009 - 01:09
Sampdoria chief Beppe Marotta insists Antonio Cassano can still play his way into Italy's World Cup squad.
Marotta maintains there is enough time for Cassano to convince Azzurri coach Marcello Lippi.
He said: "Antonio Cassano in the national team? There are still five months, the coach has already made choices we did not expect. I hope that Cassano may be selected, but the choices are not made by me."
