Pulis planning to clearout ten Stoke players in January

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is ready to offload ten players in January.

The News of the World says the Potters' chief hopes to ditch £15million worth of talent to allow him to bring fresh faces into his squad.

The list is headed by £5.5m flop Dave Kitson and includes former skipper Andy Griffin and ex-England Under-21 stars Andrew Davies and Tom Soares.

Several of the players are already out on loan, with Kitson at Middlesbrough for two months, Ibrahima Sonko at Hull and Richard Cresswell at Sheffield United.

Pulis would also let Amdy Faye, Leon Cort, Michael Tonge and Carl Dickinson go.
