Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Mon, 11/23/2009 - 03:03
Everton midfielder Johnny Heitinga says they were well in the game with Manchester United before Darren Fletcher's stunning volley.
Heitinga believes it was Fletcher's contribution which ultimately swung the clash in United's favour.
"After it the game changed and they started to play better and better," he told evertonTV. "At half time we spoke about it and I think we did well in the first 15 minutes of the second half.
"We created some chances and, if you're lucky, you'll score one of them. But after that they made it 2-0 and the game was over."
