Former LA Galaxy coach Sampson linked with Chivas USA

2005 MLS Cup winning coach Steve Sampson is being linked with a return to the league.

The former LA Galaxy and USA national team coach is believed to be close to winning the race for the top job at Chivas USA according to a report on Soccer By Ives.

Sources told SBI that Sampson has emerged as frontrunner to replace Preki Radosavljević, who left his post as Chivas coach to take up the main role at Toronto FC.

Despite Sampson being heavily favoured for the job, Chivas are still undergoing their interview process with a decision expected within a week.
