Birmingham playmaker Ferguson not desperate for Scotland return
Birmingham City midfielder Barry Ferguson says he's in no rush to return to the Scotland fold.
SFA chief executive Gordon Smith says whoever takes over from sacked manager George Burley will be free to pick Ferguson.
But Baz says: “I’m so happy, I've settled in so well and the fans have took to me.
“My family are still in Scotland but I can honestly say that I have never been more content and happy.
“You've always got a concern at the back of your mind when you change clubs but as soon as I walked through the doors I realised that this is a great bunch of boys.
“Everybody says to me now that I look more chilled out and I’m a lot happier because obviously the last six months of my days up in Scotland weren't my happiest.
“I made the right decision and I’m happy - happy in my football and hopefully people will see that Birmingham are getting the benefits.”
