LA Galaxy star David Beckham admits he rejected English offers before agreeing to return to AC Milan in January.
While the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star is delighted to be returning to Italy, he has confirmed that he was targeted by sides in England before opting for Serie A.
Beckham told Sky Sports News: "There were options there. But I always said that when I left Milan, if I had the chance to go back, I would go back there.
"If they wanted me, I would go back there. That was always my No.1 choice, if I had a choice.
"I am honoured that they want me and I can't wait to go back."
Asked if he had offers from England, Beckham, refusing to name clubs, said: "There was a couple."
