Surely it would be much better for an attacker to already be on the way down before he gets near the keeper, thus reducing the risk of injury to both players.

Oh and that way your team also gets a penalty but that's just a side effect of the plan!!!

It was an accident!! They both risked gettin hurt,
Gordon did, shame, but Defoe didn't intentionally
try to injure Gordon!!
