Portsmouth boss Hart big fan of Stoke striker Beattie

Portsmouth boss Paul Hart admits he's a big fan of Stoke City striker James Beattie.

Pompey go to Stoke tomorrow and Hart is wary of Beatts.

The Blues manager feels the Stoke hitman has found his hunger for the game again after losing his way at Sheffield United.

He said: "James Beattie has always been a handful. He is a good player.

"I couldn't understand how he drifted away. I saw him as a kid at 17 and he was a good player then. He has some appetite back."
