What a hypocrite Shay Given is!

Henry did deceive the referee, but so did Shay Given when he cynically brought down Anelka in the penalty box (i.e grabbed his foot in a manner that the referee could not have seen it - watch the replays people) in what is one of the most blatant penalties I've seen this season!!

If you want someone to blame then blame FIFA!

As a consequence of what has transpired during the World cup play off qualifier between France and Ireland, it is now time for instant replays to be used by a fourth official in all high profile football matches.

It would be nice if FIFA could implement this for the forthcoming World cup and for the start of the 2010/2011 season.

Why are they irish making a lot of noise they had three good chances to win the game but they didn't the french got one and took it, thats what makes soccer soccer, is henry the first to handle the ball no and he will not be the last, after all he accepted that he cheated, do anything to help your country.

Who gives a shit really. The point is that if they were really the better team they would have scored more goals, they didn't so they just have to wear it. A lucky goal, a bad refereeing decision, a deliberate foul, it doesnt matter - ireland had 210 minutes to score another goal and they didn't. sour grapes!

It's that whole snotty country ethic that thinks they're above everyone and will get there however they can.

Henri is now only ever going to be remembered as a cheat.
