Tigres midfielder Castillo delighted after USA debut

UANL Tigres midfielder Edgar Castillo was delighted to have made his international debut when he came on in the second half of Wednesday’s friendly loss to Denmark.
The 23-year old who has represented Mexico at both U23 and senior level admitted he was slightly nervous when he first stepped on to the pitch but soon felt at ease and enjoyed his US debut.
"It was a good experience for my first timem,” Castillo said.
“I was a little nervous but the nerves went away and I got excited when I was going to step on that field. I'm happy to be here and happy to be playing here."
