Chelsea, Spurs target Assulin baulking at Barcelona contract talks

Barcelona are struggling to secure Gai Assulin to a new contract.

The Israel international is regarded among Europe's best young players and comes off contract in June.

Sport says Barca management are struggling to convince the youngster to open talks about a new deal, which could lead to him signing a pre-contract with a rival club in January.

Chelsea and Tottenham are among Premiership clubs keen on Assulin.
