Kevin Davies believes Bolton owe their supporters a big performance in Sunday's Reebok derby against rivals Blackburn Rovers, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Following the 5-1 thrashing by Aston Villa, Bolton are just a point off the relegation zone and two behind Rovers.
"We were all disappointed by what happened at Villa and we know we can do much better," said captain Davies.
"Blackburn at home is an important game for us.
"The fans have been great at the Reebok over the last few months and we want to do well for them."
