Honduran defender Johnny Palacios is a target for Wigan Athletic.
Palacios is the younger brother of Tottenham midfielder Wilson Palacios, a former Latics star.
The Mirror says manager Roberto Martinez has sent top scout John Benson to look at the Olimpia right back in action against Peru in Miami tonight and they are poised to pounce for him in the next window.
Palacios junior, 22, has become a part of the Honduras international side that reached the World Cup finals and also features his brother Wilson, Wigan midfielder Hendry Thomas and left back Maynor Figueroa.
