Aston Villa defender Carlos Cuellar still has hopes of gatecrashing Spain's World Cup squad.
Thus far, the classy stopper has been overlooked for selection by Vicente Del Bosque but it doesn't mean he has stopped dreaming of starring for Spain in the biggest international tournament in world football.
Cuellar told Villa's website: "I have confidence in myself. If Villa keep doing well and I keep performing, I'd like to think I have a chance of making the squad.
"Villa are well respected overseas as is the Barclays Premier League.
"I have a chance - but it's going to be really hard. Spain are doing brilliantly at the moment and have some amazing players but I'd like to think I have a chance."
