Why swap? Just sell Huntellar and bring Dzeko in. Its not that Hunt is not good, its just that this kind of football doesn't fit him. He needs to push trough walls just to get into a right position, and he clearly is not able to.
Spurs should just sell Pav and use the money to buy Diego Capel! We already have 3 strikers and Dos santos is there aswell so why buy another striker?? If we buy Capel he is a left winger which we dot have at the moment, this would free up Modric to play in the middle when he returns from injury.
I would say that Huntelaar in a totalt different class... He might not be playing well at the moment, but give him some time... At the same time i dont believe Tottenham is a club with the prestige he is on the lookout for.. He played in Ajax, the best club in the Netherlands then he comes to Real Madrid which is one the biggest club in the world, then he comes to AC Milan which is a club with a lot of history and is fairly good team and the moment. Then some of you say Tottenham, they have surprised this year and have a good team but i cannot see him going to a club 4-6 in England. i just cannot see the link ;)
Fair swap maybe but having a moody Dutchman instead of a moody Russian on the bench sounds like a recipe for disaster. We all know what happened when we had a moody Bulgarian in our midst.
As for Harry knowing what he is doing, I think he does but events and Big Pavs advisors are pushing him towards an exit.
Giving Pav some game time might be the answer but why? Just for the sake of giving him a game when we already have better players in the squad just when we need all the goals we can get and at the moment - love them or hate them - Defoe, Crouch and Keane have been banging them in.
Both Crouch and Pav were given opportunities in Carling Cup games and who got the goals? Crouch. Okay Pav was injured at one stage but that should make him work harder for his next opportunity not sulk in the background.
Give Pav some decent game time and then talk, Huntelaar is not in his class.
does Rednapp really know what he is doing?
I would not be opposed to this.
Pav dont seem to have a future here
and it seems a fair swap!!!
