Van Nistelrooy not ready to call time on Real Madrid career

Ruud van Nistelrooy isn't ready to call time on his Real Madrid career.
The Dutchman has admitted considering a move away from Real in January, but isn't prepared to throw in the towel just yet.
Van Nistelrooy said: "Of course I think I can be a Real Madrid player. Why would I still be here otherwise? But judging by the match against Alcorcon, the team and I still have much to do to improve.
"I train hard and I feel better. But you know, I'm not stupid. I know what the situation is, I am realistic. This is not to say that I'm going to give up. I will do everything to play and I am preparing for this.
"If at the end of the season, I see that it is not working, then we'll see ..."
