Hearts boss can cope with Goncalves leaving
Hearts boss Csaba Laszlo has will continue to pick Jose Goncalves, despite the defender revealing he plans to quit the club this summer.
The former Portugal Under-21 international, who is in the final year of his contract, wants to seek a fresh challenge.
Laszlo told Hearts.TV: "If a player's contract is finished and he wants to leave the club, it is up to him.
"I am happy with his performances, he played in every game, has given 100 per cent and always tries to give better and better in training. That is what is important for me.
"He will have been four years at the club when his contract is finished.
"The club and the player I think had a conversation, but the question is always what the player wants and what the club can offer. I can understand both sides but I do not comment on this.
"I am happy to have him now and it is my wish to keep him but, if he likes to move, it is his choice. I talk only about his performance in games and training, nothing more."
