Sir Ryan Giggs Replace Him..
Sir Alex Take a Managing Director..
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Assistant Manager (Sir Ryan)
Eric the King Back Too United as a Director of Football
Wayne Rooney Captain
to replace SAF you cant be intimidated by the mere presence or essence of the job, you need to basically have the balls and ego to say it doesnt matter who was before me im here and im the manager
mourinho fits the bill very well
those of you who say martin oneil altho a very good manager he like a big striker so that a long ball is an option altho he hasnt used it alot at the moment, but it is something he has always liked
queiroz is a better assistant for the reasons timbo stated
blanc is a good option altho maybe not the presence to replace him, altho i dont see mourinho as a long term replacement so he could be a future united manager
as would Steve Bruce who has done a great job at the last two clubs hes managed
Ole would be a good future manager but hes not ready for the step up
Moyes is also a hot prospect as the next manager of united
Of those three Blanc is the only one worth considering, simply because he's the only one who would be capable of maintaining the kind of standard expected of United. Mourinho is a mere opportunist who excels at selling himself into top flight clubs. What he actually brings to the table though is an extremely dull, stifling style of football that is the antithesis of all that United represents. Carlos was a great assistant to Sir Alex, but his track record as a manager is abysmal - look at how an extremely talented Portuguese side has faired since he came on board.
Personally though I agree with some of the other posters that O'Neill would be the best candidate, given what he's achieved with limited resources. David Moyes also has great credentials - plus he's a Scot, and look how talismanic they've been to United as extremely successful managers!
dont know why i kinda like fabio capello.. i think fergie and utd are waiting till his contract ends with England.. just nice 2-3 more years after England's Euro 2012 campaigne thats when i think fergie will step down..
mourinho mourinho mourinho!
Martin O' Neil would be a good choice. He is a passionate dedicated coach with experience.
Martin O'Neil is the only one I would vote for the three above are not fit to fill Sir Alex's trainers let alone his boots.
The obvious choice is Blanc
