Mourinho denies England claims: I want to build great Inter Milan
Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho has denied quotes attributed to him about pining for a return to England.
The article suggested the Coach was ready to walk away from Serie A and already looking to a future beyond the Nerazzurri.
“I met with journalist Patrick Barclay some time ago for a book dedicated to Sir Alex Ferguson,” explained the Special One.
“I did not discuss current themes with this journalist, but spoke exclusively on the role of a Coach in the different countries that characterised my professional career.
“I underlined the historical and cultural differences and not personal preferences. I did this solely to highlight how Sir Alex Ferguson’s experience at Manchester United is, objectively speaking, an extraordinary exception in our line of work.
“As you can read, I explained that I love Inter, I’m happy at Inter and I am building for Inter. This is my reality and it is one I’ll stay in until the end of my contract with this club.
“I am very disappointed that a sincere tribute to Sir Alex Ferguson was used in fragments for another media and above all with a totally different slant.”
