Aberdeen quartet offered new deals
Aberdeen boss Mark McGhee has confirmed the club have offered new contracts to Peter Pawlett, Fraser Fyvie, Michael Paton and Chris Maguire.
"Offers have been made to Peter Pawlett, Fraser Fyvie, Michael Paton and Chris Maguire," McGhee told the Daily Express.
"They have all done well this season and I feel they should be on better deals.
"Willie Miller (director of football) is talking to the boys and there agents just now and I am confident we can get all the deals tied up over the next couple of weeks.
"I believe all four of these guys can do really well for the club.
"If they continue to develop then they can help take Aberdeen forward and we can all get the rewards.
"We aren't looking to get the boys tied up and then to sell them for the first decent offer that comes along.
"Hopefully we can keep them at Pittodrie for the next three or four years."
