Preki linked with Chicago Fire job

As the MLS coaching roundabout begins to pick up pace, outgoing Chivas USA coach Preki has been linked with the job at Chicago Fire.

Despite the Fire still alive in the play-offs and just one win away from finding themselves in the MLS Cup final under Denis Hamlett, the coaching job has been under question for the past week or so.

Reports suggest that the decision to replace Hamlett has already been made but it seems cruel as he has led his team to be in the final four for the 2009 season but speculation persists linking Preki with the job.
