Lucas Leiva: I can never sleep after playing for Liverpool
Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Thu, 11/12/2009 - 03:58
Lucas Leiva admits it takes him at least a day to come down after playing for Liverpool.
The Brazil midfielder says he struggles to sleep when he gets home from games.
"After a match I usually can't sleep," he told LFC Weekly magazine. "Of course I am tired but it's very hard to switch off. If we lose the feeling is even worse because you think about what you could have done differently.
"You are still caught up in the emotion of the game. You need time to relax and unwind from it all."
