Chelsea may force Man Utd to bring forward Alex Teixiera plans

Vasco da Gama starlet Alex Teixiera is a target for Chelsea.

The Telegraph says Chelsea are eyeing the Brazil U20 star for the January market.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson had scouts watch Alex in Egypt last month for the U20 World Championships and the youngster confirmed their interest.

With Chelsea now clear to move for the midfielder, Ferguson may be forced to bring forward plans to sign Alex in January.
