Man Utd's Rooney facing probe over '12th man' claims

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney could be in hot water with the FA after last night's 1-0 defeat at Chelsea.
The Daily Mail says Rooney was booked for dissent after Chelsea's goal and then appeared to mouth "12th man" into a television camera as he left the pitch after the match.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson and ref Martin Atkinson have had previous disputes. The United boss called him "a robber" after a defeat by Portsmouth in an FA Cup quarter- final in March last year and his assistant then, Carlos Queiroz, joined in. Both were charged by the FA but later cleared.
