Wolves boss Mick McCarthy was grateful to the Molineux fans after their defeat to Arsenal.
McCarthy was heartened to hear the fans chant his name near the end of the game.
He said: "It means a lot to me and the supporters have been fantastic. They were instrumental in us getting promotion.
"I have got no worries either about the desire, attitude and personality of the team. It is marvellous.
"While we were masters of our own downfall, we kept going and that is to the players credit.
"We worked so hard to get into this league but we knew we might get slapped by Arsenal. "
