Koeman: Arsenal will not win Premiership or Champions League
AZ Alkmaar coach Ronald Koeman says free-flowing Arsenal aren't good enough to win a major trophy this season.
After seeing his team thrashed 4-1 at the Emirates last week in their Champions League tie, Koeman said: “We were taught a real lesson.
“I told my players after the game they should remember the lesson they got in The Emirates. It was football of the highest level, football everyone loves to watch.
“Arsene Wenger and I both like to buy young talent, train them and let them develop into top-class players.
“The only advantage Wenger has is that he has the money to snap up every major talent in the world.
“They play lovely football, but I can not see Arsenal winning the league in England or winning the Champions League.
“Arsenal play too much when I compare them, for example, to Chelsea.
“Secondly, they lack experience in the team.
“And finally, they are physically not strong enough.’’
