Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Sun, 11/08/2009 - 07:28
Former Tottenham coach Gus Poyet is set for talks with Brighton about the manager's job.
The Sunday Mirror says Poyet will tomorrow be interviewed for the vacant Brighton manager’s job.
The Seagulls have switched attention to the former Tottenham and Leeds coach after being turned down by experienced boss Steve Coppell.
The move for Poyet, 41, marks a dramatic change in approach by the League One club.
Poyet has never been a manager in his own right. He worked with Dennis Wise at Swindon and Leeds and was Juande Ramos’ No.2 at Spurs.
