Real Madrid to report Portugal if Ronaldo plays

players are allowed to retire from international duty (scholes and agger for england are examples) and the fact that ronaldo hasn't means he wants to play for portugal. i doubt it was written in ronaldo's contract that real are allowed to tell him he can't play for portugal. if ronaldo couldn't play he'd tell queiroz. they're close, from their man utd days. the difference is these players understand that playing for their national side is a privilege, unlike selfish fans and clubs.

Madrileno you sad little twat go ***** your donkey.

@ noddy
STFU you envious little kunt !
Real already made a big ffuking favour to Quieroz handing him an "already injured" CR last time and look at the result : out for 2 months.
it's the club who paid a ffucking 96 M€ for CR, Portugal didnt. when he gets injured the only one loser is Real, not Protugal.
in England for ex, a Rafa Benitez would have never allowed Steven Gerrard to play for the national side if not fully fit.

OMG his injured man i hate portugal let the kid relax he has a derby coming up against barcelona and i hope bosnia crashes use

should always be upto the player. it just voids the insurance of their injury wage.

Imagine the compensation bill FIFA would have to foot for Ronaldo if he is injured further. The mind boggles.

Real have not got a leg to stand on, the rule gives the national team the right to call up any player, remember Makalele being called up by France, after he'd retired. I disagree with this rule but there you are. All clubs have the same problem from time to time, yet another case of Emperor Blatter ruining club football. FIFA and UEFA get free use of top players to compete in there competitions, while the clubs foot the bill if the player is injured.

this is real stupid. there should be a rule where clubs can stop players from playing, especially when they are injured or when the team has qualified. the same problem happened to Liverpool and MU, when Gerard, Torres and Rooney should not have played.
