Man City boss Hughes seeks X-factor with Adebayor

Manchester City boss Mark Hughes says they need the X-factor that Emmanuel Adebayor offers.

Adebayor will be back for City in their clash with Burnley.

And Hughes explained: "We have a number of players who are able to produce the unexpected, players who can produce things when we’re not playing particularly well.

"Ade’s one of those. You need them. You need those guys with a little bit of stardust, someone able to produce something to take the game away from the opposition.

"If you don’t have that element in a team it is hard to overcome certain opponents because they are organised and work hard. You need that flash of inspiration and we would like to think we have got that, although maybe we didn’t show it last weekend."
