Darren Bent showed a ***** dirty bit of his game in the match. 4 all da crap he says about spurs and how horribley we treated him. He goes and dives 4 a pen. *****-ck-in knobb. justice when his ex-COLLEAGUE saved the pen! what kind of knobb are you trying to screw over not only an ex-team, but wtf has Gomes done to him? *****.
Darren can't cope with competition and criticsm. If he was in any other line of work he would remain a bottom level employee because as soon as things get tough he gives up. You know what they say about nice guys. They always finish last. But as a talent, he's fast, a good height and can score with either foot in or outside the box, and his headers are decent... But his mentality is his achiles. As good as a player he is, i'm glad he left Spurs, he was one of the squad members that had no guts when things got tough. his head would drop so easily, when all he needed to do was try. I read a comment of his saying, i scored 17 goals last season and i was the top goal scorer. the fans never took to me. If Jermaine Defoe scores less then 24-25 goals this season(also consider we're not in europe) i would be disappointed with that return. ANd that is the goals tally Bent should have got. "I scored 17goals and i was the top goal scorer. Congratulations DARREN BENT. You beat an on-loan Frazier Campbell, who probably hasnt scored 10 premier League goals in his career. Roman Pavlyuchnenko, who had his first season in england last year, as well as a host of injury problems. But you did beat Jermaine Defoe and Robbie Keane, clap clap clap. But Defoe played what 5 league games for us last season? And you had a 6 month head-start on Robbie Keane? but bravo, Mr Bent. Top goal scorer. must be up there with your greatest achievements.
'arry moaned about Darren missing one chance which was unfair but never says a word about the amount of chances keane misses we all know managers have thier favourites but he has gone over the top with his assessmant of these two, chances created & chances scored Darren comes out on top every time plus he is a nice guy. After today I wish Darren has a very good season and continues scoring on a regular basis.
***** bent, you had plenty of games to prove yourself, if you cant handle the big and can only perform at the lower level, then dont blame us.
