Stoke's Whitehead warns Hull players of battle

Stoke City midfielder Dean Whitehead has warned Hull City of a battle ahead of their big match.

The Potters can push the beleaguered Hull boss Phil Brown closer to the sack if they beat the struggling Tigers at the KC Stadium.

Midfielder Whitehead said: "Brown does seem to be under immense pressure and hopefully we can use that to our advantage.

"I was in this position at Sunderland with Mick McCarthy and Roy Keane and it's not nice.

"But we'll let Hull worry about us, because we're in good form."
